OUR LEADERSHIP
The transition of "ME" to "WE" starts with leadership. The Yorktown Division has been led since 11 OCT 1961 by a long line of selfless volunteers determined to inspire our cadets to embrace and live by the values of "Honor, Courage & Commitment."
LTJG ED CASSIDY
COMMANDING OFFICER
LTJG Cassidy served 32 years in the Armed Forces. His first six years were spent in the US Navy. In 1991, he was assigned to VF-111 Sundowners aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. In 1995, he was assigned to VR-52 Taskmasters. In 1998, he transferred to the Air Force where he served 26 years with the 106th Rescue Wing and the 189th Airlift Wing. In 2019, he joined the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps. In 2023, he retired from the Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant.

INST JOSH KEENEY
EXECUTIVE OFFICER
INST Keeney served five years as a Fire Direction Specialist with the United States Army, 2-20 Field Artillery; including two combat tours to Iraq in 2003 and 2005. He joined the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps in 2018 and has served as the Operations Officer and Executive Officer.
